More Baby Info

It has been a VERY tiring week, but one full of joy and happiness as we adapt to being new parents. I thought I'd share a bit more about our baby's name. I found the name Aidan on a couple Irish name websites and we liked the name as well as the meaning. Here are those links (link1, link2). We were disappointed when we read that Aidan was one of the most popular boy names for 2005, but we decided to keep it anyway. Powell is Cindy's maiden name. She wanted to honor her dad in this way, which I thought was awesome.

Baby is healthy and happy.
Mom is fine but exhausted after 28 hours of labor.
Dad is overjoyed but hasn't slept in 40 hours.
Time to get back to hospital and take naps next to my new son.
God is awesome!!!
